Ho Chi Minh City I think it's impossible to visit Vietnam and not in some way be reminded of the war. Ho Chi Minh City stands to mind as the greatest reminder. The city looks like it's almost stood still for the last 30 years, looking exactly like it depicted in so many Vietnam War movies. In a way I think it's almost proud of its heritage. As the haunting songs of a time better forgotten can still be heard echoing through the bars of Ho Chi Minh City.
