Thailand | 2001 | 2004
Thailand my tropical paradise, I'm always going to be a little biased to Thailand as it is after all the first place where I learnt the amazement of travel, thanks Stu. Thailand is incredible, mix together amazing scenery, beautiful landscapes, cultural diversity, extreme mayhem, perfect Island sanctuaries and a whole lot of smiling people not to mention a couple random smells and you have Thailand. The place has it all from one extreme to the next you can find it in Thailand

Laos | 2001|2004
The memory I treasure most from Laos apart from the amazement of the people, was sitting on the Mekong Delta after a day of travel and boarder crossing drinking beer Lao eating Frog legs and crewing the fat with three of my greatest friends. Despite the fact that we sat on plastic chairs under a rusty beach umbrella and ate suspicious substances, it was one of the greatest meals of my life.

Cambodia | 2004
Cambodia to me optimizes what’s good and what’s wrong in a person’s heart. On one extreme you have one of nicest group of people that I have ever met; they walk with a smile that radiates through you, offering a bowl of rice when they have so little for themselves. Yet the ugliness of the land and the deplorable acts of some of the people are all too obvious. Between 1975 and 1979 a politically motivated group known as The Khmer Rouge killed more than 2 million of its own people. But what is even more saddening is the fact that the developed nations of the world did nothing whilst innocent families were butchered on the bases of ridiculous insane ideals of a madman known as Pol Pot. They say that a persons greatest is measured by their ability to overcome adversity, is this is true, the Cambodian people for my mind are the greatest Nation of people that I have have ever met.

Vietnam |
Vietnam: Out of all the Asian countries I found Vietnam to be the most frustrating. By this I mean the people were rude and greedy, unfortunately only looking to the potential monitory gain of a visitor. This sort of cultural behavior disappointingly led to very few experiences with the people of Vietnam, which to a great extent reduced the experience. Although given the remarkable natural beautiful of the country along with the friendly attitude of other travelers it's hard not to have a good time here

England | 2004
During my travels throughout Europe I have deliberately tied to avoid spending too much time in England as I had hoped to return one day to see it in all its glory. Having said that what little time I have spent there I have wondered in its drunken grace, its style, it’s exquisite taste and sophistication, I look forward to a time when I can hold her a little bit longer.

Sweden | 2004
I visited Sweden with the ecstasy of Asia still driving my soul. I was alive with the greatness and the pleasures of the world, and Sweden didn’t disappoint. There’s no better word to describe Sweden than very Swedish. It’s just so beautifully perfect, right from the cute little manicured trees that line the streets, to it’s eloquent cottages painted in the same fulan brown. It’s just so sweet everywhere you go, the people the place, and everything in between which creates the euphoric aroma that is Sweden.

Ireland | 2004-2005
Ireland and the Irish. Out of every nation in the world I do adore the company of the Irish the most, and Ireland for the most part didn’t disappoint. It’s a place of magnificence diverse beauty where a beer and a laugh are so ingrained into the culture it’s sometimes hard to tell the apart. Ireland will always have a special place in my heart as a place where it wasn't the sunhine that warmed my skin.

Northern Ireland | 2004
In true Irish style, Northern Ireland was a drunken stupor, but a hell of a laugh. Although I did manage to see a little bit of the seriousness of the place, where the ridiculousness and frustration of War fought between sides over relative nothings, is all to obviously festering on.

Czech Republic | 2004
What a magnificent place is the Czech Republic, I had a spectacular time here which was only enriched by the fact that my local guide was kind enough to show me around places in the Republic that very few people ever get to see. At times I found myself being led up strange streets and down little dinging alleys only to emerge into what can only be described as the euphoric realness that is the people of this country. I love them and their country, first for welcoming me in, and second for leading their heart to me.

Spain | 2004
I can never remember visiting a country and feeling like such a stupid foreigner. I totally underestimated how little English is spoken in this place, and from there basically spent the whole time fumbling around trying to order food, find somewhere to stay, and communicating poorly with the locals. The whole experience was a real eye opener and one I quite enjoyed. Alhtough I won’t be visiting another Spanish speaking country without learning at least a little bit of the language. As for Spain has a whole, quiet a colorful place where new and old seem to find a nice equilibrium.

Canada | 2004 -2007
So far on the bases of what I’ve seen of Canada it is without doubt the most naturally beautiful country I have ever set my eyes on. The city itself is surrounded by a magnificent mountain range which engulfs it creating something to behold. Out of the city the marvels continue and I’m determined to see as much of it as I can before the viciousness that is winter rolls along, and then the real fun begins.

The US of A, although it wasn’t my first trip to the US I hardly think getting my iris scanned and finger prints taken whilst changing planes bound for Canada constitutes a real visit. Having said that I’m not sure if Vegas being my first experiences of American life is the greatest representation either. But we had fun, and I personally walked away from city with a few extra bucks in my pocket. If you can turn a blind eye to the seriousness of Gambling and roll with the style it’s actually a pretty cool place to be for a while, but not a place I will rush back to see.
